Cast iron
overview
The cast iron gate is a kind of lift gate. The hoist is driven by an electric head screw, lifting the gate and releasing the water, pressing down the gate to stop the water. The gate is low cost, simple to operate, and can also be manually operated.
It is mainly used for box culvert, channels and small rivers.
Applications

Copper Sealed Cast Iron Penstocks (Square) are widely used in water supply and drainage projects, e.g.irrigation, flood control, water conservancy, hydropower plants, sewage works and water supply to plants etc, and in order to cut off or dredge water flow.
