software

 overview

Auke provide a number of software options for our clients to remotely monitor, control and manage their systems. Auke utilises Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) packages where possible to enhance customisability and ensure future proof operations with low support requirements.  This allows Auke to customise our different software options easily to suit our clients requirements.

 software options

SCADA

  • Auke provides cloud and or web-based SCADA applications for those clients who want detailed access to their system for monitoring, control and analysis.

  • Auke’s typical SCADA applications provide the following functionality:

- Map based system overviews so operators can easily navigate between sites and get a system-wide view of performance and issues.

- GUIs that allow the operators to monitor and control the gates.

- Alert notifications for system changes and alarms.

- Historical trends to analyse past performance and make improvements if required.

- Custom reporting to communicate key data that is required by the client.

  • Full customisation of the SCADA software is possible to suit the client's needs.

APP

Auke also offers a gate control APP that can be used by the operators and engineers to monitor and control the gates. This is a low-cost option that allows operators to easily connect with their gates using any smartphone. The APP provides the same monitoring and control functionality as SCADA, but with less data analysis and reporting capabilities, it is specifically designed for the canal operators as their main tool for remotely controlling the gates.

CDC

Channel Distribution Control is Aukes complete channel control solution. It is cloud based software that automatically controls the gates within the irrigation district to meet the operational requirements. For example CDC will provide constant pool levels throughout the irrigation district, while also delivering the scheduled farm offtake flows.

CDC uses advanced algorithms to model and predict the flow requirements of the entire canal network to deliver water to the required points and the scheduled time. Using these algorithms the CDC automatically adjusts all of the gates within the network to deliver the required canal performance.

CDCs also continuously analyses the performance of the canal network and can detect changes to the performance over time. CDC is capable of detecting leaking canals, unsolicited offtake flows, supply choke points and more. This analysis allows the canal managers to make informed decisions relating to target maintence and future capital works programs.

Business software

Auke are also able to provide custom associated software for their clients, such as water ordering software, customer billing software, scheduled maintence planning and more. Auke is well placed to provide these additional software packages for their clients due the intermate knowledge of the clients operation, and database systems.
